The artists themselves are presenting their approach to the audience. This multimedia dance piece accompanies an eccentric character and his inner world on its way to the platform of the outside world. The performance asks whether life is worth the trouble, given the possibilities of weaknesses, dramas, tragedies in the present banality of everyday life and whether soap bubbles are today’s heroes. In their production the focus is on the development of a language of movement that can communicate content via mosaic-like images. The body is thus recognized as a means of expression in the full wealth of its nuances. Constructive deconstruction of classical patterns and inscribed clichés reveals familiar things in unusual images. The Dresden-based dance company shot AG is composed of the three dancers and choreographers Nora Schott, Petra Steinert, Ariane Thalheim and the institution TENZA-Schmiede. It has been working continuously in Dresden for several years now in the field of contemporary dance.
