Born in 1979, he studied at the Königliches Konservatorium in Den Haag. He plays percussion with a number of different groups, the best-known of which is the pop band Kopna Kopna. He works as a solo performer under the name Les Frogs, and in 2003 founded the ensemble Touki Delphine with John van Oostrum and Rik Elstgeest. Bo Koek has worked with ZT Hollandia, Jong Hollandia, and Amsterdam’s Gasthuis. Most recently he worked on the installation A Home in the Neon, which will be presented in Leiden and Rotterdam in 2005. A Home in the Neon is a coproduction of De VeenFabriek with the Rotterdamse Schouwburg. Bo Koek has been a member of De VeenFabriek since 2005.
