Singer

Born on July 4, 1968. Since her earliest childhood she has wanted to work professionally with her voice. After studying music in Cologne, she went to Berlin with the musical group College of Hearts. In addition to music, theater was her passion. In recent years she has appeared in various experimental music and theater productions, including productions with Piotr Klimak, Matthew Ostrowski, Anne Wellmer, Scott Blick, and Paul Doornbusch. She has been featured as a soloist with the Gelsenkirchener Ensemble für Neue Musik. Since October 1997 she has been a member of Ireland’s Crash Ensemble, which focuses on contemporary music and interactive multimedia applications. She works as a singer, actor, and composer with the German director U. Kirsten-Hanne and the Swiss choreographer C. Gehrig-Binder. Together with Justin Bennet and Anne Wellmer, she founded the Trio Grand Mal in 1999. In 2000 she acted in Spi, an electroacoustic cantata by Yannis Kyriakides. In 2005, escamotage by Yannis Kyriakides at Forum Neues Musiktheater.
