  Regine Elzenheimer
Dramaturge

Studied German language and literature, theater studies, and philosophy in Frankfurt. In 1990 she cofounded the Mutare Musiktheater Ensemble for contemporary and experimental music theater, where she was one of the group’s artistic directors and the dramaturge on many productions and premieres until 1996. She was a dramaturge at the Frankfurt Opera from 1995–96 and for the cultural program of the German pavilion at EXPO2000 in Hanover for the series musik20 in 1999–2000. Since 1997 she has been a lecturer in theater studies and dramaturgy at the Institut für Theater-, Film- und Medienwissenschaft at the University of Frankfurt, where she also worked as a research associate until 2003. Also since 1997, she has been a dramaturge for the Mutare Ensemble. Publications and lectures on contemporary music theater and overarching topics in new music and avant-garde theater. In 2004 Voyeur by Jörg Mainka at Forum Neues Musiktheater.
