Sanzò, a student of Bruno Giuranna, is Assistant Instructor of Viola at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome. He has performed as a soloist as well as with numerous orchestras, including the orchestra of the Teatro dell’Opera and the Concerto Italiano. His repertoire extends from baroque to contemporary music and improvisation. As a permanent member of the FREON Ensemble for new music and a founding member of the Michelangelo Quartet, he has given numerous concerts in Europe and America. He has published a new edition of Campagnoli’s 41 Capricci for Viola with Edizioni Ricordi as well as numerous recordings on Nuova Era, BMG Ricordi, Opus 111, Tactus, Edi Pan, Stradivarius, Naïve, and Chandos. 2004 Last Desire at Forum Neues Musiktheater.
