  Kandis Cook
Stage and Costume Designer

Kandis Cook works as a stage designer for numerous theaters in Great Britain and North America, such as the Manchester Exchange, the English National Opera, Opera North, the Royal Ballet, and the Royal Court Theatre in London. She has designed stages and costumes for projects with the Royal Shakespeare Company (A New Way to Please You, King Lear in 2005; Antony and Cleopatra, Julius Caesar, 2006) as well as for ballet productions such as Pulcinella (Birmingham Royal Ballet, 2006) and Velocity (Houston Ballet, 2006). Kandis Cook is a member of the artistic directorship of the experimental musical theater company Post-Operative Productions. In 2006 she participated in the piece Hearing Voices of the NewMediaPocketOpera project at the Forum Neues Musiktheater on the occasion of the ISCM World New Music Festival 2006.
