  Sebastiano Severi
Cellist

Sebastiano Severi studied cello at United World College of the Atlantic and at the Conservatorio di Musica Giuseppe Verdi in Milan, where he received his diploma in 1998. He played in various symphony orchestras in Italy and worked with conductors such as Riccardo Muti, Julien Kovacev, Diego Dini Ciacci, and Salvatore Accardo. He is also a member of a variety of chamber music ensembles, whose repertoire extends from early music to contemporary music. He is currently first cellist in the Orchestra Bruno Maderna under Karl Heinz Steffens. He participated in Il cielo sulla terra at the Forum Neues Musiktheater in 2006.
