Matthias Nenner, baritone, studied music pedagogy and singing at the Hochschule für Musik in Detmold and completed his studies wit a degree in performance in 2002. He has attended master classes with Mitsuo Shirai and Hartmut Höll, among others. From 1999 to 2004 he was a regular guest of the opera ensemble of the Landestheater Detmold. In 2003 he gave guest performances at the Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse and in 2004 in Janácek’s Kátja Kabanowá at the Stadttheater Bielefeld. Matthias Nenner has performed in Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland, and Israel. Since November 2004 he is a member of the choir of the Staatsoper Stuttgart. In 2006 in Hans Thomalla's fremd at Forum Neues Musiktheater.
