  Anne-May Krüger
Singer

Born in 1978 Anne-May Krüger studied singing at the Musikhochschule Leipzig and since 2002 at the Opernschule of the Musikhochschule Karlsruhe. Master classes with Maria Venuti, Hilde Zadek, Jadwiga Rappé, Erich Holliger, and Wolfgang Rihm. Participation in various opera productions such as Bastien und Bastienne, Die Zauberflöte, and La Cenerentola. In 2005 she performed in the premiere of Lebenslinien on the occasion of the opening of the Zentrum Paul Klee in Bern. In autumn 2005 she sang the title role in the premiere of Mike Svoboda’s opera Erwin, das Naturtalent at the Junge Oper of the Staatsoper Stuttgart. Concerts at the Internationale Hugo-Wolf-Akademie Stuttgart and at the New Music festival Klangriffe at the ZKM Karlsruhe, and in Why Note in Dijon, among others. She receives a scholarship from the Richard-Wagner-Verband. In 2004 she received a scholarship for the first time from the Forum Neues Musiktheater under the direction of Joachim Schlömer with the ensemble recherche as part of the project Infinito Nero. In 2005 she participated in Die Süße unserer traurigen Kindheit at the Forum Neues Musiktheater.
