“I always wanted the dancers to be their own instrument” William Forsythe The Forum is currently developing new applications of technology for sound production and manipulation for the Forsythe Company that will enable to dances to produce a mixture of movement, speaking, singing, and electronic sounds in real time. Aspects of this work could be seen in the new production Three Atmospheric Studies by William Forsythe and The Forsythe Company, which premiered on April 2005 in the Bockenheimer Depot in Frankfurt am Main. Other results of this research and work will be presented by the Forum Neues Musiktheater and William Forsythe on June 1 as part of a studio evening with two presentations in the Forum.
