In the course of the research project William Forsythe & Forum Neues Musiktheater “I always wanted the dancers to be their own instrument” William Forsythe The Forum is developing new applications of technology for sound production and manipulation for the Forsythe Company that will enable the dancers to produce a mixture of movement, speaking, singing, and electronic sounds in real time. Aspects of this work could be seen in the new production Three Atmospheric Studies by William Forsythe and The Forsythe Company, which premiered on April 2005 in the Bockenheimer Depot in Frankfurt am Main.
